Alice 3 Procedures, Synchronized Dance

procedures- the code for the dance

inheritance- code that is makes same kinds ( bipeds, quadrupeds) do the same thing at the same time

What I learned

I learned the way to make all the same kinds to follow the same code at the same time. I also learned what procedures and inheritance means and how to make it. Lastly, I learned that quadrupeds can’t inherit from bipeds because they are different.

Cheap Bridge

The goal of this project is to make the cheapest bridge you can make.

I made a bridge in bridge designer witch cost 289K. In this blog, I will explain the difficulties I faced during the design process and how these were overcome, highlight successful aspects of the project, and Summarize the overall experience, what was learned, and what could be improved upon or done differently in the future.

The first problem I faced was when my bridge was still at 304K, my bridge couldn’t change lots of things because anything I change makes, the bridge collapse almost every time. I solved this problem by doing any small changes that could make the bridge more expensive but at the end it’s cheaper. Another problem I faced was when I was changing material to make it cheaper, I sometimes made a mistake and made the overall cost higher than the original. To solve this, I wrote down all the procedure that I need to do on a piece of paper and fallow it.

When I can’t do anything anymore, I save the project and make a new one and work on it until I can’t do anything and compare it with my previous projects. I do this way because I don’t know which designs are the best. But this way have some disadvantages, it takes a lot of time, it’s easy to get you confused, and it’s kind of annoying.

This picture below shows the beginning of my design. When I found this design, I kind of knew that it won’t be the best design, But I liked the design and wanted to challenge myself.

The picture below is my final design with 289K. Although the bridge is not that cheap but I’m proud of my design.

I learned that designing bridge is a very hard job and I noticed I never thought of about how the bridge is design.Next time I will put more time on it and find a better design that can make it cheaper than this one. Overall, it was a fun project

Bridge Comparison BLOG POST

I used a type of bridge called Arch bridge which is a bridge that the main structure is composed of arches or reinforced arches. arch bridges can hold High load bearing capacity due to the arched shape of the bridge which I think is very unique.

The color red represents compression and the color blue represents tension. I found that my design has lots of compression on the top part of the bridge and lots of tension in the bottom of the bridge.

My overall price were 565,416.23. In this activity, I found that I never thought of people who design the bridge and its very hard to design it.

introduction

The video “did you know” is taking about the many things we don’t know about technology and how much peoples are using technology for everything such as  games, music’s, work, entertainment, websites and everything well the video talks manly about how much people using or download a app, website, or anything other. The second video “How search works” talks about what google is doing to find the things we search and talks about the search results.

Major Points

The major point of the video “how searches works” is the way the Google finds information about what you searched and telling us that Google is doing a good job.

Personal Reflection

This video “did you know” made me fell about that we are relying on the internet too much and we should try to do more stuff without relying on internet like taking notes with our hand. The video “How search works” made me wonder how the computer is doing that more and how it was design to do it. It did not change my perspective on the internet issue, it just made me fell more about that we shouldn’t trust the internet more and be more carful about internet.

Critical Analysis

I think the video “did you know” has successfully conveyed its message because it’s showing the amount of people is using the app, amount of searching on google, amount of video that is upload on YouTube everyday, and more!  To me, it clearly shows that it’s trying to tell the people who don’t know how much people are using internet the amount we are using internet. For the video “How search works”, I felt that the video is just a kind of a advertisement to get people using google more because I fell that the video is just trying to to tell how good google is, I also think this video is biased because it doesn’t say any bad side of the search.

Relevance to Current Events or Trends

The video “did you know” shows that we are relying on the internet too much and there’s so many people using apps and websites every day and we don’t really know about it. For the video “How search works”, I don’t think it would really change anything because I don’t I would really care about  how google search works.

Conclusion

For the conclusion, I think for the video ”did you know” its very helpful to us because it can remind us about things we don’t really know about with the websites, apps, SNS, and more. For the video “how google search works” my conclusion is that the video talks about google search but I felt like it was saying that google is good so we should use more, in conclusion I recommend this video but if you don’t like about these thing I think you can not watch it.

Where was Origami born?

most people don’t know where Origami was really born because most of the people think that it was born in Japan. To think that origami was born in Japan is not strange because origami is a traditional culture in Japan but actually the idea of folding came from China! In the 6th century, monks from china brought paper and the idea of folding.

This is the picture of origami now

This is the picture of old time origami
